Everyone Dies!

One of my "Perriamma" (My dad's brother's wife) passed away recently because of cancer. I was in Santiago, Chile when I heard the news from my dad. It immediately brought back wonderful memories of her in Chengalpattu. She was a wonderful lady who loved her family. She will definitely be missed.

Death has such an powerful impact in our life. It makes us realize that we are all mortals and all of us will die some day. "Everyone dies!"Unfortunately, in our everyday life, we get caught up in the moment and forget this reality.

If all of us realize this, we might just live a much better life. We will not fight with the people we love. We won't act selfish. We will remember to laugh more. We will remember to do adventurous things. We will remember to help people more. We will learn to love more. Bottom line, we will learn to live more.

I remember reading a qoute somewhere "People live their lives as if they are going to live forever and die as if they have never lived enough" How ironical? Life would be wonderful, if only we change our point of view. All we need realize is that we might just die tomorrow or the ones we love may not be there tomorrow and we just have today to cherish the moment. Life would just be wonderful.
